L'anniversaire de Nina : le gâteau - Nina's birthday : the cake

Les cadeaux c'est bien, mais que serait un anniversaire sans un gâteau avec des bougies.

Presents are fine, but a birthday without a cake with candles would not be a real birthday.

Nina savait  très bien ce qu'elle voulait, un énorme gâteau au chocolat avec des bougies roses.

Nina knew very well what she wanted, a huge chocolate cake with pink candles.

 Ils chantent tous "Joyeux Anniversaire" et Nina fait un voeu.

They all sing "Happy Birthday" and Nina makes a wish.

Maintenant il est temps de manger le gâteau.

Now it is time to  eat the cake.

Tristan a voulu une grosse part, tant pis s'il n'a pas faim pour le dîner.

Tristan wanted a big piece of cake, never mind if he is not hungry for dinner.

Difficile de prendre son assiette quand on a aussi son doudou.

Difficult to take a plate when you also have got a security blanket.

Nina s'est isolée car un gâteau au chocolat ça ne se mange pas ça se déguste tranquillement.

Nina isolated herself because you do not eat a chocolate cake you savour it quietly.

 Mais difficile d'être tranquille, Blanche veut la rejoindre et Nina vient voir si tout va bien.

But difficult to have some peace, Blanche wants to join her and Nina is coming to see if everything is fine.

Maintenant que Nina vient de finir sa part elle est prête pour jouer et discuter avec Louise, elle trouve les autres un peu jeunes.

Now that Nina has just finished eating her piece of cake she is ready to play and chat with Louise, she thinks the others are a bit too young.
