Nina : "J'ai presque fini de mettre la table."

Mamie : "Et l'omelette est prête."

Grandma : "And the omelette is ready."

Grandma : "And of course, your sister isn't here yet."

Mamie : "Lucie, s'il te plait descend tout de suite."

Grandma : "Lucie, please come down at once."

Mamie : "Nina, donne moi ton assiette, s'il te plait."

Grandma : "Nina, give me your plate, please."

Nina : "Merci, Mamie, elle a l'air bonne l'omelette."

Nina : "Thank you, Grandma, the omelette looks good."

Mamie : "Commence à manger avant qu'elle refroidisse, n'attends pas ta soeur."

Grandma : "Start eating before it gets cold, don't wait for your sister."

Lucie : "Mais je suis là."

Lucie : "But I'm here."

Mamie : "Ah enfin! Quand je t'appelle tu dois venir."
Lucie : "Mais je voulais finir ce que je faisais."

Grandma : "Ah at last! When I call you you must come."
Lucie : "But I wanted to finish what I was doing."

Nina : "Et c'était plus important que l'omelette."

Nina : "And it was more important than the omelette."

Lucie : "Je voulais seulement finir mon dessin avec la feuille."

Lucie : "I only wanted to finish my drawing with the leaf."

Lucie : "Mais maintenant j'ai faim."

Lucie : But now I'm hungry."

Mamie : "En descendant j'espère que tu n'as pas oublié de te laver les mains."

Grandma : "While coming down I hope you didn't forget to wash your hands."

Nina : "Je suis sûre qu'elle était trop pressée pour le faire."

Nina : "I'm sure she was too much in a hurry to do it."

Lucie : "Comment tu le sais?"
Mamie : "Va te laver les mains!"
Lucie : "Mais je ne veux pas remonter."
Mamie : "Va à l'évier et dépêche toi!"

Lucie : "How do you know?"
Grandma : "Go and wash your hands!"
Lucie : "But I don't want to go upstairs again."
Grandma : "Go to the sink and hurry up!"
