Je suis enfin rentrée pour de bon, bientôt la rentrée.

 Mon séjour en Sicile était très intéressant et agréable, j'ai l'esprit encore plein de soleil, de mer et d'architecture merveilleuse.
Avant de vous montrer des photos et de continuer avec les pièces de la maison bord de mer je dois lire tous vos posts.

I'm back home for good, soon it will be back to school.

My stay in Sicily was very interesting and pleasant, my mind is still full of sun, sea and wonderful architecture.
Before showing you some photos and to go on with the rooms of the seaside house I have to read all your posts.

Je repars... - I'm off again...

 Je pars en Sicile pour quinze jours avec ma soeur, son mari et leur petite fille. Cette fois un séjour sans la responsabilité d'un groupe. 
Pour voir les autres pièces de la maison de vacances il faudra attendre mon retour. Les photos sont déjà prises.


I am going to Sicily for a fortnight with my sister, her husband and their little girl. This time a stay without the responsibility for a group.
To see the other rooms of the holiday house you will have to wait for my return. I have already taken the photos.

maison bord de mer (cuisine) - seaside dollhouse (kitchen)

J'ai ajouté des nouvelles choses dans la cuisine.

I added new things in the kitchen.

 L'étagère est de Vilia Miniature, les 2 placards d' Alemikimikri, le tabouret et ce qui est sur le frigidaire sont de My world on the table . J'ai fait le pense-bête.

The shelf is by Vilia miniature, the 2 cupboards by Alemikimikri, the stool and what is on the fridge are by My world on the table. I made the memo board.

Les assiettes sont de A Lavender Dilly et de Twelvetimesmoreteeny.

The plates are by A Lavender Dilly and by Twelvetimesmoreteeny.

Les pots thé et biscuits de Paris Miniatures et l'autre de MiniEden.

The tea and biscuits tins are by  Paris Miniatures and the other one by MiniEden.

La boîte avec les couverts et les ustensiles de cuisine sur la photo suivante sont d' Alemikimikri.

The box with the cutlery  and the kitchen utensils are by Alemikimikri.

Le meuble sous la fenêtre est de Patrisan, le livre de cuisine de Cynthia cottage design et la boîte de galettes à gauche de Betty Sartorio.

Le plat est d'Elisabeth Bettler, le panier de pêche de Francine Coyon-Remy et l'étagère de Cinderella moments.

J'ai fait le tableau noir et les bretonnes pour le torchon.

I made the blackboard and the  Breton women for the dish towel.

J'ai déjà des idées d'autres choses qui pourraient aller dans cette cuisine, mais ce sera pour après les vacances. Pour l'instant je m'occupe de mettre mes autres nouvelles miniatures (celles du SIMP) dans les autres pièces.

I already have some ideas of what I could add to this kitchen, but that will be for after the holidays. At the moment I am busy putting my other new miniatures (those from the SIMP) in the other rooms.

Galway - Ireland

 J'ai passé un excellent séjour en Irlande. Le groupe de jeunes était formidable, la famille d'accueil très agréable, les activités et les excursions très intéressantes.

I spent an excellent stay in Ireland. The group of students was fantastic, the host family very pleasant, the activities and the sightseeing tours very interesting.

 Je ne connaissais pas cette région de l'Irlande et j'ai découvert de merveilleux endroits.

I did not know this region of Ireland and I discovered some marvellous places.

Le temps n'était pas du tout ce que j'attendais, rien à voir avec le temps traditionnel  irlandais, ce qui nous a tous surpris. Nous avons tout le temps eu de la chaleur, du soleil et un ciel bleu.

The weather was not at all what I expected, nothing to do with the traditional Irish weather, which surprised all of us. We had heat, sun and a blue sky all the time.

Au retour le même temps à Orléans, la mer en moins... Dans 15 jours je vais repartir dans un pays avec la mer, mais plus sur ce sujet une autre fois.

Back home the same weather in Orléans, except there is not the sea... In a fortnight I will go away again to a country with the sea, but more about it another day.

Jeudi je pars en Irlande à Galway pour quinze jours avec un groupe de jeunes. Je suis très contente car je ne connais pas cette partie de l'Irlande. Je verrai sans aucun doute beaucoup de mouettes...

On Thursday I am off to Ireland to Galway for a fortnight with a group of students. I am very happy because I don't know that part of Ireland. No doubt I will see a lot of seagulls...

Ma boutique Etsy sera aussi en vacances, à mon retour je mettrai des nouveaux modèles et des coussins.

My Etsy boutique will be on holiday too. When I am back I will put new patterns and some cushions.

SIMP 2013

Avant de vous montrer mes achats je voulais tous vous remercier pour vos merveilleux commentaires sur mes coussins.

Le SIMP a été une très belle journée, concernant aussi bien les ventes, les achats que les rencontres. Je ne vais pas citer les gens que j'ai revus ou rencontrés pour la première fois, j'aurais trop peur d'en oublier. J'ai ai été heureuse de parler avec vous tous. Cela fait vraiment partie du plaisir du SIMP. Je suis désolée pour les personnes que je n'ai pas pu voir sur leur stand.

Before showing you my purchases I wanted to thank all of you for your wonderful comments about my cushions.

The SIMP was a great day, concerning as well as sales, purchases as meetings. I am not going to name the people I saw again or met for the first time, I would be too afraid to forget some of them.  I enjoyed talking with all of you. That is really a part of the pleasure of the SIMP. I am sorry for the people I didn't manage to see at their tables.

 Maintenant l'histoire du tableau. Catherine m'attendait avec ce merveilleux cadeau fait spécialement pour ma maison bord de mer. Une surprise magique de quelqu'un que j'admire beaucoup. Non seulement elle est une magnifique artiste et miniaturiste mais aussi une personne pleine de coeur. Si vous ne connaissez pas son blog Ninette & co, allez le voir vous serez sous le charme. 

Un immense merci Catherine, cela m'a vraiment touchée beaucoup.

Now the story of the painting. Catherine waited for me with this marvellous present painted especially for my seaside dollhouse. A magical surprise from someone I admire a lot. Not only is she a wonderful artist and miniaturist but also a person with a big heart. If you don't know her blog Ninette & co, go and see it you will be charmed.

A huge thank you Catherine, I was deeply touched.

Indispensable pour le bord de mer et je ne pensais pas un jour en trouver une aussi belle.

A must have for the seaside and I didn't think that one day I would find such a beautiful one.

 Une nouvelle miniature pour la chambre des enfants, dans cette maison des objets et des meubles modernes seront mélangés avec des objets de famille et anciens.

A new miniature for the children's bedroom, in the house modern items and furniture will be mixed with family and old items.

I will be going on holiday soon, therefore when I am back I will take photos of all of them in the house. But more about holidays in my next post.

Comme tous les ans ma mère sera là pour m'aider et me permettre d'aller voir les autres stands et faire des achats. 

My table will be n° 75. Come and say hello.
Like every year my mother will be there to help me and to enable me to go and see the other tables and make purchases.
