At long last there are doorknobs in the seaside house. I have had them for more than a year. I bought them at Evolve miniatures and I painted part of it white. My idea was to hang something on the doorknobs.
And to do that I had the fish by Véronique Bailleul who were until now in the children's bedroom.
The front door has also its doorknob.
Bon dimanche! - Have a nice Sunday!

RépondreSupprimerVery pretty doorknobs. especially with little seaside ornaments hanging from them. Well worth the delay. Decorating a dollhouse is an endless job.

RépondreSupprimerBesujis!!
The doorknobs look perfect! Isn't it amazing sometimes how long it takes us to add the simple details? I wonder why I waited... but there is usually a good reason! When it is done it gives such satisfaction!
Bon dimanche.
RépondreSupprimerPreciosos detalles para las manillas. Feliz domingo:-)
RépondreSupprimerI love the idea of using these lovely fishes for your door knobs, they fit perfectly in your seaside house, Geneviève. Finishing miniatures, or miniature works, can take sometimes a bit more of our time, but in your case the result look great!
RépondreSupprimerBonne soirée. Amicalement, Ilona
I like the doorknobs, they are so old !

The "new" doorknobs are the perfect fit for the doors, Genevieve. They add just the right amount of "Bling" to the Seaside House doors, AND I like the way you have accentuated them by "porcelainizing" a portion of the handle with white- Spot On!
RépondreSupprimerHanging those little wooden fish from them is such a Fun idea and is yet another charming feature inside this cosy little home by the sea.♥

I have always liked those doorhandles with the porcelain handle, and these miniature ones are perfect. Wonderful idea to hang the little fishies on them. It adds such a wonderful cosy seaside charm to the room. Simple but spot on!

I haven't seen that style of door handle before - they're lovely and it's such a nice idea to have some items hanging from them. These little touches bring life to the scene (and perhaps a story in there too?)
RépondreSupprimerIrene thank you very much!!! I wanted that kind of French door handles and it took me a long time to find them.

Greetings Genevieve, I am sorry that I have not been visiting my bloglist so unfortunately missed this post, Your blue door and little porcelain knobs on the brass keystroke are perfect. I think the little fish are such a nice addition to the entry as well. It made me want to go and try and carve some immediately but of course I am easily distracted and my list of must do and want to do things gets longer.
RépondreSupprimerIt is very satisfying to finish off those small details that make such a difference.
Your house by the sea is lovely.
Regards Janine
