Noël avec Félicie - Christmas with Félicie

 

Nina : "Alors, Mamie, tout est prêt ?"
Mamie : "Oui, presque. Mais regarde ta sœur, qu'est ce qu'elle fait ?"

Nina : "Pourquoi tu dis presque ?"

Mamie : "Parce qu'on a pas encore la fougasse. Lucie, ne touche à rien, s'il te plaît."

Nina : "So, Grandma, is everything ready?"

Grandma : "Yes, almost. But look at your sister, what's she doing?"

Nina : "why do you say almost?"

Grandma : "Because we haven't got the focaccia yet. Lucie, don't touch anything, please."

Lucie : "Mais je ne touche pas je regarde. Le melon confit est trop beau."

Nina : "Oh, je me vois, c'est comme un miroir."

Mamie : "C'est là que je poserai la fougasse."

Nina : "Mais elle est où cette fougasse ?"

Lucie : "But I don't touch I'm just looking. The candied melon is too beautiful."

Nina : "Oh, I can see myself, it's like a mirror."

Gandma : "That's where I'll put the focaccia."

Nina : "But where's that foccacia?"

Mamie : "C'est Félicie qui l'apporte."

Nina : "Tu as l'air stressée Mamie."

Mamie : "Non, tout est prêt mais je veux que l'on ne touche à rien avant que Félicie arrive."

Nina : "Quand Maman dit ça c'est qu'elle est stressée."

Mamie : "C'est juste que j'aime quand tout est parfait."

Grandma : "Félicie will bring it."

Nina : "You sound stressed Grandma."

Grandma : "No, I'm not, everything is ready but I don't want anything to be touched until Félicie arrives."

Nina : "When Mum says that she's stressed."

Grandma : "It's just that I like everything to be perfect."

Mamie : "Allez regardons la crèche."

Lucie : "On peut faire un jeu ?"

Mamie : "Mais tu sais très bien que ce n'est pas le moment."

Nina : "Lucie, regarde donc la crèche."

Lucie : "Je l'ai déjà regardée."

Grandma : "Let's look at the crib."

Lucie : "Can we play a board game ?"

Grandma : "But you know very well that isn't the right time."

Nina : "Lucie, look at the crib."

Lucie : "I've already looked at it."

Lucie : "J'espère que Félicie arrive bientôt car on ne peut rien faire et je m'ennuie."

Mamie : "Charles, tu peux venir, s'il te plaît ?"

Lucie : "Pourquoi tu appelles Grand-père ?"

Mamie : "Parce qu'il va aller chercher Félicie."

Lucie : "I hope Félicie will arrive soon because we can't do anything and I'm bored."

Grandma : "Charles, can you come, please?"

Lucie : "Why are you calling Granddad?"

Grandma : "Because he's going to fetch Félicie."

Grand-père : "Me voilà, tu as besoin de moi pour quelque chose."

Mamie : "Ce serait bien que tu ailles chercher Félicie, il va bientôt faire nuit."

Lucie : "Je peux aller avec toi."

Grand-père : "Allons-y, j'entendais les filles s'impatienter. Tu viens aussi Nina ?"

Nina : "Non, j'ai pas envie de sortir, je reste avec Mamie."

Granddad : "Here I am, you need me for something."

Grandma : "It would be good if you went and fetched Félicie, it will be dark soon."

Lucie : "I can go with you."

Granddad : "Let's go, I could hear the girls getting impatient. Are you coming too Nina?"

Nina : "No, I don't want to go out, I'm staying with Grandma."

Félicie : "C'est l'heure d'aller chez Charles et Solange, elle doit attendre la fougasse. Mais toi, tu ne viens pas, pas la peine de me regarder comme ça."

Lucie : "Coucou Félicie, tu parles à qui ?"

Félicie : "Mais c'est la petite Lucie avec Charles. Qu'est ce que vous faites là ?"

Félicie : "It's time to go to Charles and Solange's, she must be waiting for the foccacia. But you're not coming with me, no need to give me that look."

Lucie : "Hello Félicie, who are you talking to?"

Félicie : "But it's little Lucie with Charles. What are you doing here?"

Lucie : "On est venus te chercher."

Félicie : "C'est gentil, je parie que c'est une idée de Solange."

Grand-père : "Exactement, tu la connais bien et puis Lucie commençait à s'ennuyer alors une promenade était la bienvenue."

Lucie : "Bonjour la chèvre. J'étais sûre que je verrais tes animaux. Ils sont où les autres ?"

Félicie : "Ils sont dans leur maison, la chèvre est une petite coquine et voulait me suivre."

Lucie : "We came to fetch you."

Félicie : "That's nice, I bet it was Solange's idea."

Granddad : "Absolutely, you know her well and Lucie was getting bored so a walk was welcome."

Lucie : "Hello goat. I knew I would see your animals. Where are the others?"

Félicie : "They're in their house, the goat is a little rascal and wanted to follow me."

Grand-père : "Allons-y, Solange et Nina nous attendent."

Lucie : "Mamie t'attend et surtout ta fougasse."

Grand-père : "Enfin Lucie, on ne dit pas des choses comme ça."

Félicie : "Ne t'inquiète pas Charles, ça me fait rire. Je suis sûre qu'elle attend la fougasse pour avoir les 13 desserts."

Granddad : "Let's go, Solange and Nina are waiting for us."

Lucie : "Grandma's waiting for you and especially your focaccia."

Granddad : "Really Lucie, you don't say things like that."

Félicie : "Don't worry Charles, it makes me laugh. I'm sure she's waiting for the focaccia to have the 13 desserts."

Nina : "Vous êtes enfin rentrés et avec la fougasse."

Grand-père : "Mais pourquoi tout le monde parle de cette fougasse, j'ai l'impression d'avoir un trésor dans ce panier."

Nina : "Tiens il y a aussi une boîte de calissons, mais il y en a déjà sur la table."

Grand-père : "Bon, je fais quoi avec ce panier maintenant ?"

Nina : "You're back at last and with the focacia."

Granddad : "But why everyone is talking about this focaccia, I feel like I've got a treasure in this basket."

Nina : "There's also a box of calissons, but there are already some on the table."

Granddad : "Well, what do I do with this basket now?"

Mamie : "Comment vas tu, Félicie?"

Félicie : "Très bien, merci. Je suis contente d'être avec vous. Et toi ?"

Mamie : "Très bien aussi. Merci beaucoup pour la fougasse, tout est prêt pour passer une bonne soirée ensemble."

Félicie : "J'ai aussi apporté des calissons pour les filles, elles les emporteront chez elles."

Mamie : "Merci pour elles, c'est trop gentil."

Lucie : "Quand est ce que l'on mange ? J'ai faim."

Grandma : "How are you, Félicie?"

Félicie : "Very well, thank you. I'm happy to be with you. And you?"

Grandma : "Very well too. Thanks a lot for the focaccia, everything's ready for a great evening together."

Félicie : "I also brought some calissons for the girls, they'll take them home."

Grandma : "Thank you for them, you're too kind."

Lucie : "When are we going to eat? I'm hungry."
