Tous à vélos ou en solex (épisode 1 Félicie) - All on bikes or mopeds (part 1 Félicie)

Félicie is getting ready to set off on her moped to visit Solange (Nana and Lucie's Grandma) to bring her some fruit and eggs. The animals are watching her and are chatting.
The goat : "Where's she off to now?"
The goose : "What's it got to do with you?"
The goat : "I'm just wondering, that's all and I like to know."

The goose : "She does what she likes and so do I."
The goat : "Well then, why are you here? It looks like you're keeping an eye on her."
The goose : "Because with her I'm never disappointed. Something often happens that makes me laugh."
The goat : "Hey, goose, it isn't nice to make fun of her."

Félicie : "Oh, zut ! Un œuf de moins pour Solange."
L'oie : "Hop !

One less egg for Solange."
The goose : "Oops! There goes an egg on the floor, what did I tell you!"
The hen : "What on earth is that? I don't believe it!"
The goat : "Félicie, it doesn't matter, don't listen to them."
The goose : "Anyway she doesn't understand what we're saying."

The hen : "What a waste! She could have been more careful. What's the point of me laying eggs if it's to break them."
The goose : "Why are you so upset, hen? It's not the first time."
The hen : "I know, but still. And now it's covered in dust."
The goat : "Stop moaning, hen. Your egg won't be lost, some animals will eat it."

Félicie : "Right, I'm off. My little friends, I'll be back soon, see you later."
The goat : "Soon, I'm not so sure if she's going to Solange's."
The goose : "She can take her time, I don't mind."
The hen : "Come on, Félicie, you can go and don't ride on my egg."
The goose : "Well, what do you want to do to while she's away?"

Noël avec Félicie - Christmas with Félicie

Nina : "Alors, Mamie, tout est prêt ?"
Mamie : "Oui, presque.
Nina : "Pourquoi tu dis presque ?"

Nina : "So, Grandma, is everything ready?"
Grandma : "Yes, almost. But look at your sister, what's she doing?"
Nina : "why do you say almost?"
Grandma : "Because we haven't got the focaccia yet. Lucie, don't touch anything, please."

Lucie : "But I don't touch I'm just looking. The candied melon is too beautiful."
Nina : "Oh, I can see myself, it's like a mirror."
Gandma : "That's where I'll put the focaccia."
Nina : "But where's that foccacia?"

Mamie : "C'est Félicie qui l'apporte."
Nina : "Tu as l'air stressée Mamie."

Grandma : "Félicie will bring it."
Nina : "You sound stressed Grandma."
Grandma : "No, I'm not, everything is ready but I don't want anything to be touched until Félicie arrives."
Nina : "When Mum says that she's stressed."
Grandma : "It's just that I like everything to be perfect."

Grandma : "Let's look at the crib."
Lucie : "Can we play a board game ?"
Grandma : "But you know very well that isn't the right time."
Nina : "Lucie, look at the crib."
Lucie : "I've already looked at it."

Lucie : "I hope Félicie will arrive soon because we can't do anything and I'm bored."
Grandma : "Charles, can you come, please?"
Lucie : "Why are you calling Granddad?"
Grandma : "Because he's going to fetch Félicie."

Grand-père : "Me voilà, tu as besoin de moi pour quelque chose."

Granddad : "Here I am, you need me for something."
Grandma : "It would be good if you went and fetched Félicie, it will be dark soon."
Lucie : "I can go with you."
Granddad : "Let's go, I could hear the girls getting impatient. Are you coming too Nina?"
Nina : "No, I don't want to go out, I'm staying with Grandma."

Félicie : "It's time to go to Charles and Solange's, she must be waiting for the foccacia. But you're not coming with me, no need to give me that look."
Lucie : "Hello Félicie, who are you talking to?"
Félicie : "But it's little Lucie with Charles. What are you doing here?"

Lucie : "We came to fetch you."
Félicie : "That's nice, I bet it was Solange's idea."
Granddad : "Absolutely, you know her well and Lucie was getting bored so a walk was welcome."
Lucie : "Hello goat. I knew I would see your animals. Where are the others?"
Félicie : "They're in their house, the goat is a little rascal and wanted to follow me."

Granddad : "Let's go, Solange and Nina are waiting for us."
Lucie : "Grandma's waiting for you and especially your focaccia."
Granddad : "Really Lucie, you don't say things like that."
Félicie : "Don't worry Charles, it makes me laugh. I'm sure she's waiting for the focaccia to have the 13 desserts."

Nina : "You're back at last and with the focacia."
Granddad : "But why everyone is talking about this focaccia, I feel like I've got a treasure in this basket."
Nina : "There's also a box of calissons, but there are already some on the table."
Granddad : "Well, what do I do with this basket now?"

Grandma : "How are you, Félicie?"
Félicie : "Very well, thank you. I'm happy to be with you. And you?"
Grandma : "Very well too. Thanks a lot for the focaccia, everything's ready for a great evening together."
Félicie : "I also brought some calissons for the girls, they'll take them home."
Grandma : "Thank you for them, you're too kind."
Lucie : "When are we going to eat? I'm hungry."

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and I now I would like to wish you a Happy New Year.

Mamie et son téléphone portable (fin) - Grandma and her mobile phone (the end)

Grandma : "Let's start playing."
Lucie : "Ok, but I don't want to play alone, I want to be with Grandma."
Nina : "You say that because now you'd rather play with the tablet."
Lucie : "It's not true."
Nina : "It is, I can see how you're looking at it."
Grandma : "No one's going to play with the tablet. Lucie you'll have your pawn and I told you I'd help you."

Lucie : "Grandma understands, it's hard for me to count."
Nina : "Ok, that's good. It's only because just two players is no fun."
Grandma : "So everyone is happy."
Lucie : "Oh, Granddad and Fiona are back."
Nina : "Oh no! what about the game."
Granddad : "What a welcome!"

Grandma : "She is annoyed because we were about to start the game."
Granddad : "How is that possible? What have you been doing until now?"
Grandma : "I had things to do and I also tried to phone Fiona."
Granddad : "Nothing really important I guess, anyway she had left her phone at home."
Grandma : "You're enjoying it, aren't you? I wanted eggs but I can see you've got some. Unbelievable!"
Granddad : "Félicie must have heard you, you see no need for a phone."

Fiona : "You haven't finished your game yet."
Nina : "We haven't even started it yet. All that because of Grandma and her tablet."
Lucie : "You forgot your phone. Grandma wanted to call you to bring back some eggs. It's too bad we won't have an omelette."
Fiona : "Don't fret! We got eggs from Félicie."
Lucie : "Great!"
Nina : "Grandma, Fiona and Granddad can play with us."

Grandma : "I guess Granddad wants to have a rest after his walk."
Granddad : "You're so right. I'll make myself some tea and read. Right, I'll put the eggs in the kitchen."
Grandma : "That's what I thought. What about you Fiona?"
Fiona : "I wanted to show you the plants I picked and also read."
Nina : Come on Fiona, please, play with us. The more players we are, the better it is"
Fiona : "Oh, well, ok, if it makes you happy."
Nina and Lucie : "Great! Thank you Fiona."
Grandma : " It's kind of you Fiona, after the game you'll show me your plants. Let's start the game for good."

Mamie et son téléphone mobile (épisode 3) - Grandma and her mobile phone (part 3)

Allez viens.""

Lucie : "So what do we do while waiting for Grandma?"
Nina : "We can do whatever we want she won't even notice."
Lucie : "Ok, but what?"
Nina : "I don't know. Let me think and I'll find an idea."
Lucie : "I'd love to have a calisson, but if she sees us there'll be trouble."
Nina : "I'm telling you she won't see anything. Come on."

Nina : "So, what are you waiting for?"
Lucie : "You do it and then I'll take one."
Nina : "Why me? You're the one who wanted one."
Lucie : "Maybe, but you're the one who told me to go an get one."
Nina : "So you're chickening out."

Grandma : "What are you doing ?" I thought you wanted to play."
Nina : "Nothing, we were just waiting for you."
Lucie : "Grandma will you help me count and pay?"
Grandma : "Yes, of course I will, hand out the banknotes."
Nina : "I'll do it."

Nina : "Pas maintenant, on va jouer."
Mamie : "Ça ne sera pas long et puis tu n'as pas fini avec les billets. Mais où ai je mis mon téléphone ?"
Lucie et Nina : "Il est là bas."

Grandma : "Ah, I forgot to tell Granddad and Fiona to get some eggs."
Lucie : "It isn't a big deal."
Grandma : "Yes, it is, I want to make an omelette tonight. I'll call Fiona."
Nina : "Not now, we're going to play."
Grandma : "It won't be long and you haven't finished with the banknotes. But where did I put my phone?"
Nina and Lucie : "It's over there."

Nina : "Look, here it is."
Grandma : "Thank you girls. I'm always forgetting where I put it."
Lucie : "You should put it in your pocket."
Grandma : "I don't need it all the time like teenagers."
Nina : "That's what Dad does and he isn't a teenager."

Mamie : "Chut ! J'appelle Fiona."
Lucie : "C'est quoi cette musique?"

Lucie : "What is a teenager?"
Nina : "Young people like Fiona."
Lucie : "But Fiona she isn't always with her phone."
Grandma : "Sush! I'm calling Fiona."
Lucie : "What's that music?"

Nina : "Allez, on va jouer maintenant."

Grandma : "I don't understand why she can't answer."
Nina : "Grandma it's normal Lucie has just found Fiona's phone."
Grandma : "So the music was her phone ringing."
Lucie : "And you can't call Granddad."
Grandma : "No, I can't, since he doesn't want a phone. Well, I'll have to think of something else for dinner."
Nina : "Come on, let's play now."

Mamie et son téléphone mobile (épisode 1) - Grandma and her mobile phone (part 1)

On y va ?"

Fiona : "A good thing I took my notebook with me."
Granddad : "With the fish it'd be better suited for seaside holidays."
Fiona : "Maybe, but I couldn't put shells in it. I'm happy with the flowers I found."
Granddad : "It's a good start for a herbarium notebook. Shall we go?"

Fiona : "Now I'm ready. I've just seen that I haven't taken my phone with me."
Granddad : "You don't need it you're with me."
Fiona : "I know but Grandma told me to take it in case she needed to call us. Granddad what about making a detour to go and say hello to Félicie."
Granddad : "Your Grandma and mobile phones, she's a laugh. Come on Cuddly, let's go and see Félicie."

Bonjour Fiona."

Félicie : "But look who is here? What are you doing here Cuddly? You want to come and collect eggs with me."
Cuddly : "Woof woof"
Félicie : "I guess your master musn't be very far away and you must have been faster than him."
Cuddly : "Woof woof"
Fiona : "Hello Félicie."
Félicie : "Well, it isn't Charles but Fiona. Hello Fiona."

Fiona : "Granddad is coming. Cuddly ran right away when he heard your name."
Félicie : "I'm happy to see you, so you've been walking with your Granddad."
Fiona : "Yes, I have and before going home I wanted to stop by and say hello."
Félicie : "You're a good girl. But you've got quite a big bag for a walk."
Granddad : "Why don't you show you herbarium notebook to Félicie."

Fiona : "I've just started it."
Félicie : "I'm sure you'll find a lot more plants."
Fiona : "With Grandma you'll help me find their names because I want to write them.
Fiona : "Of course, I will and I can also tell you what they're good for."
Fiona : "Oh yes, please and I'll add it in my notebook."

Granddad : "She's always full of ideas and she's an artist."
Félicie : "Charles you can be proud of her. At least she isn't always playing with her phone like many others."
Granddad : "And yet, she's got one. You know Solange sometimes annoys me with hers and her tablet."
Félicie : "You're like me you aren't interested in all that. You've got your books and I've got my animals."
Granddad : "Nevertheless I accept that it can be useful."

Félicie : "Ah, tu me fais rire."

Fiona : "But Where's Calinou?"
Félicie : "He must have gone and seen my goat, don't worry he isn't lost."
Granddad : "He hasn't got a phone, he can do what he wants, no risk of being called."
Félicie : "Ah, you make me laugh."
Fiona : "And we too since I left my phone at home."
Félicie : "So, let's go and see where Calinou is."

roulotte- gypsy caravan

Having seen the gypsy caravan back in her Provençal village Félicie wants to say hello to its occupants.

Mais déception,

But disappointment,

la roulotte est vide.

the gypsy caravan is empty.

They must not have gone very far, while waiting she will show us round.

Thanks to lockdown I tidied up and I took out again my gypsy caravan that was hidden under my desk.

Now it is in a prominent place on a shelf.

I won this 1/24th scale gypsy caravan in 2010, there are several posts about the different stages of decoration.

I had great fun with the colours and making most of the furniture.

Je vous laisse la découvrir ou redécouvrir.

I let you discover or rediscover it.

Prenez soin de vous - Take care
