 J'ai ajouté et changé plusieurs choses dans la chambre des parents.

I have added and changed several things in the parents' bedroom.

 Le merveilleux tableau de Catherine fait spécialement pour cette maison. La lampe est d'Elisabeth Causeret.

The marvellous painting by Catherine made especially for this house. The lamp is by Elisabeth Causeret.

 Le sac et magazine Cath kidston sont de Baking in miniature. Le tabouret (comme celui dans la salle de bains) de Piikko. Le panier à couture de La Seine miniatures.

 The Cah Kidston bag and magazine are by Baking in miniature. The stool (like the one in the bathroom) by Piikko. The sewing basket by La Seine miniatures.

J'ai délacé la peinture que j'avais mise avant au dessus du lit et le fauteuil qui était sur le palier. Je l'ai habillé d'un "plaid" au tricot, un cadeau d'une amie. J'ai acheté la peinture il y a très longtemps en Angleterre.

I moved the painting that I had put before above the bed and the armchair that was on the landing. I dressed it with a knitted "plaid", a present from a friend. I bought the painting a very long time ago in England.

 

Je trouve que les deux peintures vont bien ensemble en parallèle.

I think  the two paintings go well together in parallel.

La peinture de Cinderella Moments était avant dans le salon.

The painting by Cinderella Moments was before in the living room.

Le sac et les chaussures à côté de l'armoire sont de Patrisan.

The bag and the shoes next to the wardrobe are by Patrisan.

Ce n'est pas la pièce où il y eu le plus de changements, à part 3 peintures et la lanterne.

It is not the room where there have been a lot of changes, apart from 3 paintings and the lantern.

 J'ai recouvert le sofa avec du tissu Tilda. - I upholstered the sofa with Tilda fabric.

 L'échelle est de MiniEden - the ladder is by MiniEden

Le phare et le bateau de Véronique Bailleul - The lighthouse and the boat by Véronique Bailleul

 Là vous pouvez voir la 3ème peinture.

Les 3 tables basses sont de Miniatures by Annina, l'étagère bleue d'Amazing Miniatures,
la table bleue et blanche de Jane Harrop

 J'avais acheté ces magnets lors d'un séjour en Irlande en 2009 en pensant à mes miniatures. J'avais peur qu'ils soient un peu trop grands, mais je trouve que finalement ils vont bien dans la pièce.

I had bought these magnets during a stay in Ireland in 2009 thinking of my miniatures. I thougt they may be a bit too big but in the end I think they go well in the room.

La salle de bains est une petite pièce au premier étage.

The bathroom is a small room on the first floor.

Comme le reste de la maison ce n'est pas fini, mais comme cette pièce n'est pas complètement ouverte je n'ai pas besoin de mettre trop de choses dedans.

As the rest of the house it is not finished, but as this room is not completely open I don't need to put too much in it.

Il y a l'essentiel une douche. - There is the main thing a shower

Enfin des photos de Sicile - At last some photos of Sicily

C'était un grand plaisir pour moi de retourner en Sicile pour la troisième fois après de nombreuses années. Ces photos vous montrent une partie de ce que nous avons vu. Nous étions à Balestrate à l'ouest de Palerme.

It was a great pleasure to go back to Sicily for the third time after many years. These photos show you a part of what we saw. We were in Balestrate to the west of Palerme.

Devant la maison il y avait des oliviers, orangers et citronniers (ceux de la photo).

In front of the house there were olive trees, orange trees and lemon trees (those on the photos).

 Et même des bananiers (dans le fond). - And even banana trees (in the background)

Autour de la maison - Around the house

L'entrée de la petite maison que nous avions louée, c'était si agréable d'être en dehors de la ville.

The entrance to our small rented house, it was nice to be outside town.

 Cela était près de notre maison, nous savions quand aller sur la route pour voir le berger avec ses moutons et chèvres en entendant les cloches de certains animaux. Ma petite nièce aimait beaucoup ça. 

This was near our house, we knew when to go on the road to see the shepherd with his sheep and goats by hearing the bells of some of the animals. My little niece enjoyed it a lot.

Le fromage de chèvre que nous avions acheté au berger.

The goat cheese we had bought from the shepherd.

Je vous laisse avec la mer que j'adore tant. Ce fut un superbe été avec deux merveilleux voyages. 

 I leave you with the sea that I love so much. It was a great summer with two marvellous trips.

Je suis enfin rentrée pour de bon, bientôt la rentrée.

 Mon séjour en Sicile était très intéressant et agréable, j'ai l'esprit encore plein de soleil, de mer et d'architecture merveilleuse.
Avant de vous montrer des photos et de continuer avec les pièces de la maison bord de mer je dois lire tous vos posts.

I'm back home for good, soon it will be back to school.

My stay in Sicily was very interesting and pleasant, my mind is still full of sun, sea and wonderful architecture.
Before showing you some photos and to go on with the rooms of the seaside house I have to read all your posts.

Je repars... - I'm off again...

 Je pars en Sicile pour quinze jours avec ma soeur, son mari et leur petite fille. Cette fois un séjour sans la responsabilité d'un groupe. 
Pour voir les autres pièces de la maison de vacances il faudra attendre mon retour. Les photos sont déjà prises.


I am going to Sicily for a fortnight with my sister, her husband and their little girl. This time a stay without the responsibility for a group.
To see the other rooms of the holiday house you will have to wait for my return. I have already taken the photos.

J'ai ajouté des nouvelles choses dans la cuisine.

I added new things in the kitchen.

 L'étagère est de Vilia Miniature, les 2 placards d' Alemikimikri, le tabouret et ce qui est sur le frigidaire sont de My world on the table . J'ai fait le pense-bête.

The shelf is by Vilia miniature, the 2 cupboards by Alemikimikri, the stool and what is on the fridge are by My world on the table. I made the memo board.

Les assiettes sont de A Lavender Dilly et de Twelvetimesmoreteeny.

The plates are by A Lavender Dilly and by Twelvetimesmoreteeny.

Les pots thé et biscuits de Paris Miniatures et l'autre de MiniEden.

The tea and biscuits tins are by  Paris Miniatures and the other one by MiniEden.

La boîte avec les couverts et les ustensiles de cuisine sur la photo suivante sont d' Alemikimikri.

The box with the cutlery  and the kitchen utensils are by Alemikimikri.

Le meuble sous la fenêtre est de Patrisan, le livre de cuisine de Cynthia cottage design et la boîte de galettes à gauche de Betty Sartorio.

The piece of furniture under the window is by Patrisan, the cook book by Cynthia cottage design and the box of galettes on the left by Betty Sartorio.

Le plat est d'Elisabeth Bettler, le panier de pêche de Francine Coyon-Remy et l'étagère de Cinderella moments.

J'ai fait le tableau noir et les bretonnes pour le torchon.

I made the blackboard and the  Breton women for the dish towel.

J'ai déjà des idées d'autres choses qui pourraient aller dans cette cuisine, mais ce sera pour après les vacances. Pour l'instant je m'occupe de mettre mes autres nouvelles miniatures (celles du SIMP) dans les autres pièces.

I already have some ideas of what I could add to this kitchen, but that will be for after the holidays. At the moment I am busy putting my other new miniatures (those from the SIMP) in the other rooms.
