 Tous les deux ans Orléans est plein de vie grâce au Festival de Loire.

Every two years Orélans is very lively thanks to the Festival de Loire.

J'adore voir la Loire avec tous ces bâteaux.

I love seeing the Loire with all these boats.

C'est comme un voyage dans le passé.

It is like going back to the past.

Cela nous donne une idée de l'animation qu'il devait y avoir sur les bords de Loire.

It gives us an idea of the animation there must have been on the banks of the Loire.

Nina et Lucie n'ont pas pu s'empêcher d'aller dans un bateau.

Nina and Lucie had to go on a boat.

Voyez comme elles sont à l'aise. - See how they look at ease.

Elles rêvent qu'elles descendent  la Loire, Blois, Tours ... et pourquoi pas jusqu'à la mer! ...

They are dreaming they are sailing down the Loire, Blois, Tours ... and why not down up to the sea! ...

Il y a des restaurants, des concerts, des ateliers pour les enfants etc...

There are restaurants, concerts, workshops for children and so on...

Beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire. Nous sommes très fiers de notre fleuve.

A lot to see and do. we are very proud of our river.

Ce que j'ai mis dans l'armoire n'est pas définitif, c'est juste un essai.

What I put in the wardrobe is not definitive, it is just a try.

Je vais faire un abat-jour pour la lampe bleue.

I am going to to make a lampshade  for the blue lamp.

Avec le sofa il y avait un pouf mais je n'avais plus assez de tissu. Alors j'ai décidé d'utiliser un autre tissu, ainsi il peut  aller aussi bien avec le sofa qu'avec les fauteuils.

With the sofa there was a footstool but I did not have enough fabric. So I decided to use another fabric, therefore it can go with the sofa as well as with the armchairs.

nouveaux meubles - new furniture

Quand j'étais à Eastbourne j'ai trouvé un magasin de miniatures avec un grand choix. Miniature Living, ils ont un site web. L'adresse : Enterprise Shopping Centre - Station Parade - Eastbourne

When I was in Eastbourne I found a miniatures shop with a big choice. Miniature Living, they have a website. The address : Enterprise Shoppng Centre - Station Parade - Eastbourne

J'ai commencé par changer le tissu des coussins.

I started by changing the fabric of the cushions.

Puis j'ai tout peint. - Then I painted everything.

A Lewes j'ai trouvé un merveilleux magasin de patchwork. Je suis ressortie avec pas mal de tissus dont le tissu des coussins.

In Lewes I found a wonderful patchwork shop. I left with quite a lot of fabrics among them the fabric of the cushions.

Plus de meubles dans un autre post, il faut que je choisisse les couleurs pour les peindre. Je profite de ne pas travailler à plein temps pour le moment pour faire tout ça. Je devrais recommencer dans les autres écoles début octobre.

More furniture in another post, I have to choose the colours to paint them. I take the opportunity of not working full time to do all this. I should start again in the other schools at the beginning of October.

Nina : "Qu'est ce que tu fais Lucie?  On va être en retard à l'école. Pour le premier jour c'est la honte!"

Nina : "What are you doing Lucie? We're going to be late for school. On the first day it's pathetic!"

Lucie : "Attends moi! J'avais oublié de mettre quelque chose dans mon nouveau cartable."

Nina : "Dépêche toi maintenant!"

Lucie : "Wait for me! I had forgotten to put something in my new schoolbag."

Nina : "Now hurry up!"

Lucie : "Me voilà! Nina, regarde comme il est beau mon cartable!"

Nina : "Oui, tu es prête?"

Lucie : "Here I am! Nina, look how beautiful is my new schoolbag!"

Nina : "Yes, it is. Are you ready?"

Lucie : "Nina, tu crois que les autres vont être jalouses de mon cartable?"

Nina : "Je  sais pas, on n'a pas le temps, on y va!"

Lucie : "Nina, do you think the others will be jealous of my schoolbag?"

Nina : "I don't know, there is no time, let's go!"

J'ai moi aussi fait ma rentrée, mais juste dans une école pour l'instant. J'enseigne l'anglais  à des enfants de 5 ans à 7 ans. Voilà pourquoi j'utilise des marionnettes. 

I went back to school too, but only to one school at the moment. I teach English to 5, 6, 7- year-old children. The reason why I use  puppets.

Avant les vacances j'avais gagné le giveaway de Jollie (aller voir son blog),  avec mes voyages je n'avais pas encore eu le temps de vous le montrer. Donc, enfin ...

Before the holidays I had won Jollie (go and see her blog), with my various travels I had no time to show it. So, at last ...

La maman de Nina et Lucie est très contente.

Un village anglais - An English village

Quand j'ai visité la maison d'Anne de Cleves à Lewes j'ai vu ces maisons à monter. Je ne pouvais pas résister et je les ai achetées.

When I was visiting Anne of Cleves House in Lewes I saw these cut-out houses. I could not resist and had to buy them.

Bien sur, Nina et Lucie sont ravies, elles ont encore l'impression d'être en Angleterre.

Of course, Nina and Lucie are very pleased, they feel like being in England again.
