Fin de réveillon (fin) - The end of Christmas dinner (the end)

Lucie est maintenant dans le salon et elle découvre une boîte de truffes au chocolat.

Lucie is now in the living room and has just discovered a box of chocolate truffles.

Bien sur elle n'a pas pu s'empêcher de l'ouvrir tout de suite et le résultat n'est pas très joli ...

Of course she could not help opening it straight away and the result is not very nice ...

Elle se rend bien compte de ce qu'elle a fait, mais c'est trop tard.

She realizes what she has just done, but it is too late.

Alors elle commence à en manger.

So she starts eating some.

Mais attention, Nina arrive ...

But watch out, Nina is coming ...

Nina : "Qu'est ce que tu as fait Lucie? Maman va être furieuse."
Lucie : " Pourquoi? J'aime les truffes."

Nina : "What have you done Lucie? Mum will be furious."
Lucie : "Why? I love truffles."

Mamie : "Enfin un peu de calme!"

Grandma : "At last  a bit of calm!"

Nina : "Tu sais très bien qu'on devait attendre papa pour ouvrir la boîte."
Lucie : "Je vais voir mamie."

Nina : "You know very well that we had to wait for daddy to open the box."
Lucie : "I'm going to see grandma."

Lucie : "Mamie est ce que je peux avoir encore un champignon, s'il te plait?"
Mamie : "Non, il n'en reste qu'un et c'est pour ton père."
Lucie : "Mais il en restait deux."
Mamie : "Oui mais j'en ai mangé un, je suis gourmande."
Lucie : "Pourquoi tu es gourmande, mamie?"
Mamie : "Et toi?"

Lucie : "Grandma can I have another mushroom, please?"
Grandma : "No, you can't. There is only one left and it's for your father."
Lucie : "But there were two left."
Grandma : "Yes, there were. But I ate one, I've got a sweet tooth."
Lucie : "Grandma why have you got a sweet tooth?"
Grandma : "And what about you?"

Lucie trouve que ce n'est pas drôle et pourquoi à chaque fois on lui dit qu'il faut attendre son père.

Lucie thinks it isn't funny and why every time she is told that she has to wait for her father.

 Après un merveilleux réveillon de Noël, dans quelques heures nous allons recommencer ...

After a great Christmas dinner, in a few hours we will start again ...

 Mamie : "Alors les filles qu'est ce que nous allons nous souhaiter à minuit?"

Grandma : "Well girls, what are going to say at midnight?"

 Nina : "Bonne Année!"
Lucie : "Mais on a pas fini de raconter l'histoire du réveillon de Noël"
Mamie : "Nous le ferons en 2014."
Lucie : "Mais il faudra attendre longtemps."
Nina : "Non, cette nuit quand tu vas te coucher nous serons en 2014."

Nina : "Happy New Year!"
Lucie : "But we haven't finished telling the story of Christmas dinner."
Grandma : "We'll do it in 2014."
Lucie : "But it will be a long wait."
Nina : "No, it won't, tonight when you'll go to bed we'll be in 2014.

Fin de réveillon (épisode 1) - The end of Christmas dinner (part 1)

Mamie : "Où vas tu Lucie?"
Lucie : "Je vais jouer. J'ai fini ma bûche, alors je peux aller jouer."
Mamie : "Oui tu peux."

Grandma : "Where are you going Lucie?"
Lucie : "I'm going to play. I finished my Yule log, so I can go and play."
Grandma : "Yes, you can."

En effet Lucie a vraiment tout manger. - It's true that Lucie ate everything.

Elle est bien la seule ...  Il faut dire que maman et mamie n'ont plus très faim à la fin du réveillon.

She is really the only one ... Mummy and Grandma are not very hungry at the end of Christmas dinner.

Nina : "Mamie, je n'ai pas tout mangé, mais je veux finir plus tard. Et toi?"
Mamie : "Moi aussi ou demain. Tu sais c'est agréable d'en avoir pour le lendemain."

Nina : "Grandma, I haven't eaten everything, but I want to finish it later. What about you?"
Grandma : "Me too or tomorrow. You know it's nice to have leftover for the day after."

  Lucie quitte la salle à manger. -  Lucie is leaving the dining room.

Et elle est dans le salon. - And she is in the living room.

Le reste de la bûche sur la desserte - What is left of the Yule log on the sideboard

Nina : "Moi aussi je veux aller jouer."
Mamie : "Je vais emporter la bûche dans la cuisine et aider ta maman."
Nina : "Tu veux que je t'aide?"

Nina : "I too want to go and play."
Grandma : "I'm going to take the Yule log to the kitchen and help your mother."
Nina : "Can I help you?"

Mamie : "Non, ce n'est la peine. Va rejoindre ta soeur et jouer. Bientôt ton père va rentrer."
Nina : " Dommage que papa ne pouvait pas manger avec nous."
Mamie : "Je suis d'accord avec toi, mais avec son métier c'est comme ça."

Grandma : "No, don't bother. Go play with your sister. Soon your daddy will be back."
Nina : "It's a pity dad couldn't have dinner with us."
Grandma : "I agree with you, but with his job it's like that.

Nina : "Je me demande bien avec quel cadeau elle joue."

Nina : "I wonder what present she has chosen to play with."

Enfin je trouve un peu de temps pour vous montrer quelques nouvelles miniatures. Avec la fin du trimestre je suis bien occupée avec mes cours, évaluations et bulletins à écrire.

At last I find a bit of time to show you some new miniatures. With the end of term I am quite busy with my teaching, tests and reports to write.

Patrick Duclou m'a très gentiment envoyé ses fleurs pour la maison bord de mer.

J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à composer les bouquets.

Il avait aussi ajouté le bouddha qui est parfait pour l'étagère. Un vrai petit trésor dans la maison.

Véra : "Est ce que tu penses que maintenant Boule de neige boude?"
Nina : "Non, je pense qu'il cherche à manger. Je vais le prendre pour que tu puisses lui dire bonjour."

Vera : "Do you think that now Snowball's sulking?"
Nina : "No, I don't. I think he's looking for food. I'm going to take him so you can say hello to him."

Véra : "Oh, il me regarde."

Vera : "Oh, he's looking at me."

Véra : "Bonjour Boule de neige. Tu sais j'ai un peu peur de lui, il parait que les lapins grignotent tout."

Vera : "Hello Snowball. You know I'm a bit afraid of him. They say that rabbits nibble everything."

Nina : "Oui bien sur. Tu peux te rapprocher, il aime les câlins."

 Vera : "Are you really sure?"

 Nina : "Of course I am. You can come closer, he loves hugs."

Véra : "On dirait qu'il veut m'embrasser."

Nina : "Tu peux le prendre dans tes bras."

Vera : "Non merci, mais il est très mignon."

Nina : "Ok, Je vais le poser."

Vera : "He seems to want to kiss me."

Nina : "You can hold him."

Vera : "No thank you, but he is very cute."

Nina : "Ok, I'll put him down."

Nina : "Tu viens? On va jouer dans ma chambre."
Véra : "Nina, je ne peux pas, il essaye de manger mes lacets. Je t'avais bien dit que les lapins grignotent tout."
Nina : "N'aies pas peur! Il s'amuse. Allez Boule de neige laisse Véra tranquille et va dans ta cage."

Nina : "Are you coming? We're going to play in my bedroom."
Véra :" Nina, I can't, he's trying to eat my shoelaces. I told you that rabbits nibble everything."
Nina : "Don't be afraid! He's just having fun. Snowball leave Vera alone and go to your cage."
