Provence, part 1

Comme vous le savez j'ai passé huit jours en Arles avec ma mère fin août. C'est une région avec une culture très riche. 

As you know I spent eight days in Arles with my mother at the end of August. It is a region with a very rich culture.

Nous avons passé une journée à Tarascon, célèbre pour la Tarasque, le château du Roi René et Souleiado. J'ai toujours aimé leurs tissus, et là nous avons visité le musée.

We spent a day in Tarascon, famous for the Tarasque, the castle of Roi René and Souleiado. I have always loved their fabrics, and there we visited the museum. 

 

 

Nous avons profité du salon de thé en attendant l'ouverture du musée.

We enjoyed a drink at the tearoom while waiting for the opening of the museum.

Malheureusement il était interdit de prendre des photos dans le musée. Il présente tout sur les tissus, des artistes provençaux, des pièces provençales, un régal.

Unfortunately it was forbidden to take photos inside the museum. It shows everything about the fabrics, rooms and artists from Provence, a delight.

Lors de mes deux séjours en Angleterre j'ai vu des magasins très intéressants, particulièrement à Rochester. D'abord mes achats de miniatures. 

During my two stays in England I saw very interesting shops, especially in Rochester. First my miniature purchases.

A Plymouth, dans le quartier du Barbican, j'ai découvert un magasin formidable, Blue Peace Gallery, on y trouve des tableaux, de  la décoration avec du bois flotté, tout autour de la mer. Un rêve ... 

In Plymouth, in the Barbican area, I discovered a wonderful shop, Blue Peace Gallery, there you find paintings, drift wood art, everything about the sea. A dream ...

 Nina devant un tableau de cette galerie, je n'ai pas pu résister, ainsi je vois la mer dans mon bureau/atelier.

Ils vendent aussi des cartes, je pourrai m'en servir pour la maison de bord de mer.

They also sell cards, they will be useful for my seaside house.

Rochester, Angleterre - England

Cette fois je suis rentrée pour de bon à la maison. Il est temps de vous montrer des photos de Rochester, ville célèbre grâce à Charles Dickens. Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir, mais j'ai choisi de vous faire découvrir "The Restoration House". C'est un véritable enchantement. 

J'ai pris beaucoup de photos dans le jardin, il est interdit de photographier à l'intérieur.

Now I am back at home for good. It is time to show you some photos of Rochester, a town famous thanks to Charles Dickens. There are a lot to see, but I chose to make you discover "The Restoration House". It is a true enchantment. 

I took a lot of photos in the garden, it is forbidden to take photos inside.

La visite du jardin  - A tour of the garden

L'intérieur de la maison est aussi beau que le jardin. De plus il y a des gens dans chaque pièce pour vous donner des explications sur les meubles, les tableaux, etc ... C'est un plaisir de voir comme ils aiment cette maison.

The inside of the house is as beautiful as the garden. Moreover there are people in each room to give you explanations about the furniture, paintings and so on ... It is a pleasure to see how much they love this house.

Je suis vraiment tombée amoureuse de cette maison et du jardin.
