Joyeuses Pâques - Happy Easter

Nina a enfin eu le poussin dont elle rêvait depuis toujours.

Nina at last got the chick she had always dreamt of.

Grâce à Nina le poussin est ravi de faire connaissance avec les lapins.

Nina : "Allez on va chercher les chocolats de Pâques!"

Thanks to Nina the chick is pleased to meet the rabbits.

Nina : "Let's look for the Easter chocolates!"

Maman savait qu'une poule plairait à Nina. Tristan, le voisin, est très content avec sa coquille Saint Jacques.

Mum knew that Nina would love a hen. Tristan, the neighbour, is very happy with his scallop.

 Lucie a eu un poisson.

Lucie got a fish.

Nina : " Lucie et Tristan, regardez! mon petit poussin est trop mignon."

Nina : "Lucie and Tristan, look! my little chick is so cute."

Nina : "Maintenant il vient de retrouver sa maman."

Nina : "Now it has just found its mum again."

Tristan : "Nina, tu es toujours drôle. Tu crois que je peux commencer à manger mon chocolat?"

Nina : "Pourquoi pas! Mais attention! Maman a dit que nous allons bientôt déjeuner. Mais peut-être qu'elle  te rouspétera pas comme nous."

Tristan : "Nina, You are always funny. Do you think I can start eating my chocolate?"

Nina : "Why not! But be careful! Mum said we'll soon have lunch. But maybe she won't tell you off like us."

Lucie : "Nina tu as eu une poule et puis un poussin, moi j'ai eu un poisson, alors pourquoi je n'aurais pas un poisson rouge?"

Nina : "Ne sois pas stupide! il faut toujours que tu exagères et puis ce n'est pas un vrai poussin."

Lucie : "Comme si je ne le savais pas. Je plaisantais."

Lucie : "Nina you got a hen and  then a chick, I got a fish, so why couldn't I get a goldfish?

Nina : "Don't be stupid! you're always exaggerating and it isn't a real chick."

Lucie : "As if I didn't know. I was joking."

Lucie : "C'est vrai qu'il est adorable."

Lucie : "It' true that it's cute."

Lucie : "Oh! Il me regarde. On dirait qu'il veut me dire quelque chose. Nina et Tristan pourquoi vous riez?"

Lucie : "Oh! It's looking at me. It seems to want to say something to me. Nina and Tristan why are you laughing?"

Bientôt Pâques ... - Easter is coming ...

Mamie chez Nina et Lucie pour les vacances (fin) - Grandma at Nina and Lucie's house for the holiday (the end)

Mamie : "Allez Nina, va poser tes photos sur la table."

Grandma : "Come on Nina, go and put your photos on the table."

Mamie avait aussi acheté des bonbons pour les filles.

Grandma had also bought some sweets for the girls.

Lucie, qui est une petite fille très curieuse, n'a pas mis longtemps pour les voir.

It did not take very long for Lucie, who is a very curious litlle girl, to see them.

Nina : "Alors, mamie, c'est qui la dame?"

Mamie : "C'est Sarah Bernhardt."

Nina : "Qui? Je n'ai jamais entendu ce nom, c'est une cousine éloignée?"

Mamie : "Non pas du tout, c'est une comédienne qui était très célèbre et une femme extraordinaire."

Nina : "Mais si elle n'est pas de la famille pourquoi on a des photos d'elle."

Mamie : "Quand j'étais jeune elle me fascinait et me faisait rêver alors je collectionnais les photos d'elle."

Nina : "So, Grandma, who is this lady?"

Grandma : "She is Sarah Bernhardt."

Nina : "Who? I've never heard this name before, is she a remote cousin?"

Grandma : "Not at all, she is an actress who was very famous and an extraordinary woman."

Nina : "But if she isn't a relative why we've got photos of her."

Grandma : "When I was young I was fascinated by her and she made me dream so I collected photos of her."

Nina : "Tu voulais être comme elle?"

Mamie : "Oui, d'une certaine façon, Mon rêve était d'être comédienne."

Nina : "Et alors?"

Mamie : "On en parlera une autre fois. Regarde plutôt ta soeur!"

Nina : "Mais, qu'est ce qu'elle fait? Je ne le crois pas, elle va prendre les bonbons."

Nina : "Did you want to be like her?"

Mamie : "Yes, I did in a way, My dream was to be an actress."

Nina : "And then?"

Mamie : "We'll talk about it another time. Look at your sister instead!"

Nina : "But, what is she doing? I don't believe it, she's going to take the sweets."

Lucie : "Alors, c'est qui la dame?"

Mamie : "Tu crois que cela t'intéresse vraiment, tu as l'air plus intéressée par les bonbons."

Nina : "Tu n'as même pas demandé la permission à mamie."

Mamie : "Lucie, tu sais que pour avoir quelque chose normalement tu devrais dire s'il te plait."

Lucie : "Houp! Pardon mamie et merci beaucoup pour les bonbons. Un bisou!"

Lucie : "So, who is the lady?"

Mamie : "Do you really think you are interested? You look more interested in the sweets."

Nina : "You didn't even ask Grandma's permission?"

Grandma : "Lucie, You know that to take something usually you should say please."

Lucie : "Oops! Sorry grandma and thanks a lot for the sweets. A kiss!"

Mamie : "Viens, Nina, que je te donne les tiens puisque Lucie vient de gâcher la surprise."

Grandma : "Come, Nina, so I can give you yours since Lucie has just spoiled the surprise."

 Mamie : "Tiens ma petite Nina!"

Grandma : "Here you are, my sweet little Nina!"

 Nina : "Merci beaucoup mamie! C'est une belle surprise."

Mamie : "Lucie, ne mange pas tous les bonbons maintenant."

Nina : "Thank you so much grandma! It's a nice surprise."

Grandma : "Lucie, don't eat all your sweets now."

Mamie chez Nina et Lucie pour les vacances (épisode 2) - Grandma at Nina and Lucie's house for the holiday (part 2)

Une fois rentrées à la maison mamie a tout installé en attendant le retour de la mère de Nina et Lucie.

Once back at home granny set the table while waiting for the return of Nina and Lucie's mother.

Nina : "Mamie, tu fais quoi? J'ai quelque chose à te montrer."

Nina : "Granny, what are you doing? I've got something to show you."

Mamie : "J'allais mettre de l'eau  pour le thé. Que veux tu me montrer?"

Granny : "I was about to put water for the tea. What do you want to show me?"

Nina : "Des photos."

Nina : "Some photos."

Lucie : "Des photos d'une belle dame. Nina ne veut pas croire que c'est toi, je ne sais pas pourquoi."

Lucie : "Some photos of a beautiful lady. Nina doesn't want to believe that it's you, I don't know why."

Nina : "Regarde mamie!"

Nina : "Look granny!"

Mamie : "Tu sais Lucie, Nina a raison."

Nina : "Ah! de toutes façons j'ai toujours raison."

Lucie : "Ce n'est pas vrai."

Mamie : "Arrêtez les filles de vous disputer!"

Granny : "You know Lucie, Nina is right."

Nina : "Ah! anyway I'm always right."

Lucie : "It isn't true."

Granny : "Girls stop quarrelling!"

Mamie : "Je vais vous dire qui c'est. Mais d'abord allons dans le salon, je ne veux pas toutes ces photos ici, il n'y a pas de place sur la table."

Granny :"I'm going to tell you who she is. But first let's go to the living room, I don't want all these photos here, there is no room on the table."

Nina : "Je vais étaler les photos sur la table basse."

Nina : "I'm going to display the photos on the coffee table."
