Au marché de Noël - At the Christmas market

La vendeuse : "Bonjour."

Les filles : "Bonjour."

Mamie : "Bonjour, vous avez plein de belles choses. Les filles, y a-t-il quelque chose que vous voulez ?"

The seller : "Good afternoon."

The girls : "Good afternoon."

Grandma : "Good afternoon, you've got a lot of nice things. Girls, is there anything you would like?"

Nina : "C'est vrai que l'on peut choisir quelque chose ?"

Mamie : "Oui, même si vous avez déjà eu vos cadeaux, ce sera un petit cadeau pour la fin de l'année."

Lucie : "Chouette, merci Mamie."

Nina : "Can we really choose something?"

Grandma : "Yes, you can, even if you've already got your presents, it will be a little present for the end of the year."

Lucie : "Great, thank you Grandma."

Nina : "Mamie, viens voir les petites poupées. J'en voudrais bien une."

Mamie : "Elles sont vraiment mignonnes. Laquelle tu préfères ?"

Nina : "Grandma, come and see the little dolls. I would really like one."

Grandma : "They are really lovely. which one do you prefer?"

Mamie : "Le père Noël est drôle."

Nina : "J'adore l'ange avec les plumes."

Nina : "I love the angel with the feathers."

Grandma : "I agree with you it is gorgeous with the feathers."

Mamie : "Et toi, Lucie, quel est ton choix ? Un autre ange ?"

Lucie : "Je veux un bonhomme de neige, son nez en carotte est trop mignon."

Mamie : "Très bonne idée."

Grandma : "And you, Lucie, what is your choice? Another angel?"

Lucie : "I want a snowman, its carrot nose is too cute."

Grandma : "Very good idea."

Lucie : "Regarde, Mamie, c'est celui-là que je veux."

Mamie : "Alors c'est bien ça ce que vous voulez."

Les filles : "Oui, Mamie."

La vendeuse : " Alors, un ange et un bonhomme de neige. Vous voulez un sac."

Nina : "Non merci, je veux le tenir."

Lucie : "Look, Grandma, I want this one."

Grandma : "So it's really what you want."

The girls : "Yes, it is, Grandma."

The seller : "So, an angel and a snowman. Would you like a bag?"

Nina : "No thank you, I want to hold it."

Les filles : "Merci beaucoup, Mamie."

Mamie : "Tout le monde est content, rentrons à la maison maintenant."

Nina : "Je vais l'accrocher dans ma chambre."

Lucie : "Moi aussi, mais avant je vais le montrer à Grand-père."

The girls : "Thanks a lot, Grandma."

Grandma : "Everybody's happy, let's go home now."

Nina : "I'll hang it in my bedroom."

Lucie : "Me too, but before I'll show it to Granddad."

Nina : "L'année prochaine je pourrais mettre mon ange dans le sapin de Noël si maman en achète un."

Lucie : "Et bien sûr aussi mon bonhomme de neige."

Mamie : "Je me demande pourquoi il n'y en a pas cette année."

Nina : "Next year I could put my angel in the Christmas tree if Mum buys one."

Lucie : "And of course my snowman too."

Grandma : "I wonder why there isn't one this year."

Lucie : "Maman voulait un vrai sapin et Papa voulait un faux."

Nina : "Donc ils se sont disputés et pas de sapin."

Colin : "Nina, Nina"

Nina : "Mamie, c'est bizarre j'entends quelqu'un m'appeler."

Lucie : "J'entends rien."

Lucie : "Mum wanted a real Christmas tree and Dad a fake one."

Nina : "So they argued and no Christmas tree."

Colin : "Nina, Nina"

Nina : "Grandma, it's weird I can hear someone calling me."

Lucie : "I can't hear anything."

Colin : "Nina, Nina, je peux te voir mais tu ne peux pas me voir."

Lucie : "J'ai entendu, ça doit être un lutin."

Nina : "Tu vois toi aussi tu l'entends, c'est quoi ce truc ?"

Mamie : "Quelqu'un doit te faire une farce, mais je ne vois personne."

Colin : "Nina, Nina, I can see you but you can't see me."

Lucie : "I've heard, it must be an elf."

Nina : "You too can hear it, what's that thing?"

Grandma : "Someone must play a prank on you, but I can't see anything.

Colin : "Coucou Nina, alors tu me vois maintenant ?"

Nina : "Oh, c'est toi. Tu m'as quand même fait un peu peur." 

Mamie : "Ah, Colin, ce petit coquin."

Lucie : "C'est dommage, ce n'est pas un lutin."

Colin : "Hello Nina, so can you see me now?"

Nina : "Oh, it's you. You did scare me a little."

Grandma : "Ah, Colin, he's a little rascal."

Lucie : "What a pity, it isn't an elf."

Colin : "Je t'ai bien eu ! J'avais changé ma voix et ça a marché. J'ai bien ri."

Nina : "Quand même ! T'es bête des fois."

Colin : "Allez, c'était drôle."

Nina : "Bon, regarde ce que Mamie nous a acheté."

Colin : "Got you there! I changed my voice and it worked. I had a good laugh."

Nina : "Honestly! You're stupid sometimes."

Colin : "Come on, it was fun."

Nina : "Well, Look what Grandma bought us."

Colin : "Un ange, un truc de fille."

Nina : "Pourquoi tu dis ça? T'es pénible aujourd'hui."

Lucie : "Et moi un bonhomme de neige."

Colin : "Ça me plait plus. Nina, j'aime les plumes de ton ange."

Nina : "Ah, tu vois, tu l'aimes bien aussi."

Colin : "An angel, it's a girl thing."

Nina : "Why are you saying that? You're a pain today."

Lucie : "And me a snowman."

Colin : "I like it more. Nina, I like the feathers of your angel."

Nina : Ah, you see, you like it too."

Mamie : "Bonjour Colin, tu veux aussi acheter quelque chose ?"

Colin : "Non, je regarde c'est tout et puis j'ai laissé mon argent de poche à la maison."

Mamie : "Les filles, on doit rentrer pour aider votre maman à préparer le réveillon."

Colin : "Moi je vais continuer à me promener. Au revoir"

Grandma : "Hello Colin, do you also want to buy something?"

Colin : "No, I don't. I'm just looking and I've left my pocket money at home."

Grandma : "Girls, we must go home to help your mother prepare New Year's Eve dinner."

Colin : "I'll keep on walking around. Bye-bye.""

Nina : "Tu veux venir demain à la maison ?"

Colin : "Je ne peux pas, mes grand-parents vont venir pour nous souhaiter la bonne année."

Nina : "Peut-être dimanche avant de retourner à l'école."

Colin : "Pourquoi pas ? Déjà la fin des vacances, mince alors ! Je n'ai pas encore fait mes devoirs."

Mamie : "Tu viens, Nina ?"

Nina : "Au revoir Colin, je dois y aller. J'arrive Mamie."

Nina : "Do you want to come to my house tomorrow?"

Colin : "I can't, my grandparents are coming to wish us a happy new year."

Nina : "Maybe on Sunday before going back to school."

Colin : "Why not? Already the end of the holidays, you don't say! I haven't done my homework yet."

Grandma : "Are you coming Nina?"

Nina : "Bye-bye Colin, I must go. I'm coming Grandma."

Joyeux Noël - Merry Christmas

 

Avant de publier une nouvelle histoire je voulais vous montrer ce qui va être utilisé pour cette histoire.

Before publishing a new story I wanted to show you what will be used for this story.

J'ai construit cette échoppe de marché de Noël avec une bourriche d'huitres.

I built this Christmas market stall with an oyster basket. 

Je l'ai rempli avec des achats et des choses que j'avais déjà.

I filled it with purchases and things I already had.

Je me suis bien amusée à la remplir.

I had great fun filling it.

Les bougies sont de prettyminiaturesshop. La blanche à droite et le mini sapin sur la grande étagère sont de Piikko.  

The candles  are by prettyminiaturesshop. The white one on the right and the mini Christmas tree on the big shelf are by Piikko.

La maison en pain d'épices et les 2 paniers ont été faits par une amie. Les bocaux avec couvercles en bois de rennes et les boîtes de thé sont de minifanaberia

The gingerbread house and the two baskets were made by a friend. The Cristmas reindeer jars and Christmas tea are by minifanaberia.

Lucie : "Qu'est ce que tu fais ? Tu plantes des fleurs ?"

Martin Bonjardin : "Pas du tout, je récolte des pommes de terre."

Nina : "Des pommes de terre, mais il y a rien, je ne les vois pas."

Lucie : "What are you doing? Are you planting flowers?"

Martin Goodgarden : "Not at all, I'm harvesting potatoes."

Nina : "Potatoes, but there's nothing, I can't see any."

Martin : "Je vais te montrer. Et maintenant tu peux en voir une."

Nina : "Ah oui, elles sont cachées dans la terre."

Martin : "Je suis content de t'apprendre quelque chose. Regarde, et voilà."

Martin : "I'll show you. And now you can see one."

Nina : "Ah, yes, I can, they are hidden in the ground."

Martin : "I'm happy to teach you something. Look, there it is."

Nina : "Une pomme de terre. C'est chouette le jardinage. "

Martin : "Oui, comme tu dis, mais c'est aussi un dur travail."

Nina : "Vraiment ? C'est quand même mieux que l'école, tu n'as pas de devoirs quand tu rentres à la maison."

Martin : "Je suis d'accord avec toi, je n'aimais pas l'école."

Nina : "A potato. Gardening is fun."

Martin : "Yes, as you say, but it's hard work too."

Nina : "Really? It's still better than school, you haven't got any homework when you get home."

Martin : "I agree with you, I didn't like school."

Nina : "Moi j'aime bien, mais mes parents sont agaçants avec les devoirs et les notes."

Martin : "C'est pour ton bien."

Nina : "Je peux t'aider ?"

Martin : "Avec plaisir, ça me fera une pause bienvenue."

Nina : "I like it, but my parents are annoying with homework and marks."

Martin : "It's for your own good."

Nina : "Can I help you?"

Martin : "With great pleasure, it'll give me a welcome break."

Nina : "Regarde, j'en ai trouvé deux."

Martin : Allez, continue il y en a d'autres."

Nina : "Combien ?"

Martin : "Je ne sais pas, il faut bien fouiller la terre pour ne pas en louper."

Nina : "Look, I found two."

Martin : "Come on, keep going, there are more."

Nina : "How many?"

Martin : "I can't tell, you have to dig the soil well not to miss any."

Nina : "C'est bon cette fois ?"

Martin : "Oui, beau travail, Nina."

Nina : "Maintenant je vais aller les montrer à Mamie."

Martin : "Prends les plus petites, les autres vont aller dans la brouette."

Nina : " Is it ok this time?"

Martin : "Yes, it is. Good work, Nina."

Nina : "Now I'll show them to Grandma."

Martin : "Take the small ones, the others will go in the wheelbarrow."

Nina : "Mamie, regarde les pommes de terre. C'est moi qui ai trouvé toutes les pommes de terre."

Mamie : "Toutes ? Mais alors, qu'est ce qu'il a fait Martin ?"

Nina : "Il a trouvé la première et il était content que je fasse le reste."

Mamie : "Et pourquoi je ne suis pas surprise. Martin et ses fameuses pauses !"

Nina : "Grandma, look at the potatoes. I found all the potatoes."

Grandma : "All of them? But then, what did Martin do?"

Nina : "He found the first one and he was pleased I did the rest."

Grandma : "And why I'm not surprised. Martin and his famous breaks!"

Lucie : "J'aime manger des pommes de terre, surtout en purée."

Nina : "J'en aurai plus que toi car c'était un dur travail de les récolter."

Grandma : "Personne n'en aura, je veux les garder pour cet hiver."

Nina : "Mamie, quand tu les mangeras tu penseras à moi."

Lucie : "I like eating potatoes, especially mashed potatoes."

Nina : "I'll have a bigger portion because it was hard work harvesting them."

Grandma : "Nobody will have them, I want to keep them for winter."

Nina : "Grandma, when you eat them you'll think of me."

Martin : "Bon, j'y vais."

Lucie : "Mamie, Martin s'en va."

Mamie : "Alors, vous avez une bonne aide."

Martin : "Oui en effet. Nina devrait venir plus souvent chez vous."

Martin : "Well, I'm on my way."

Lucie : "Grandma, Martin is going."

Grandma : "So, You had a good helper."

Martin : "Yes, indeed. Nina should stay with you more often."

Et voilà ma première récolte de pommes de terre en août dans mon petit jardin. Il y avait aussi des minuscules pommes de terre. Comment ne pas les utiliser dans une histoire ...

And here is my first harvest of potatoes in August in my small garden. There were also tiny potatoes. How not to use them in a story ...

Mamie : "Commençons le jeu."

Lucie : "D'accord, mais je ne veux pas jouer toute seule, je veux être avec Mamie."

Nina : "Tu dis ça parce que maintenant tu voudrais plutôt jouer avec la tablette."

Lucie : "C'est pas vrai."

Nina : "Si, je vois bien comment tu la regardes."

Mamie : "Personne ne va jouer avec la tablette. Lucie tu auras ton pion et je t'ai dit que je t'aiderais."

Grandma : "Let's start playing."

Lucie : "Ok, but I don't want to play alone, I want to be with Grandma."

Nina : "You say that because now you'd rather play with the tablet."

Lucie : "It's not true."

Nina : "It is, I can see how you're looking at it."

Grandma : "No one's going to play with the tablet. Lucie you'll have your pawn and I told you I'd help you."

Lucie : "Mamie elle comprend, pour moi c'est difficile de compter."

Nina : " D'accord, c'est bon. C'est juste parce que juste deux joueurs ce n'est pas drôle."

Mamie : "Alors, tout le monde est content."

Lucie : "Oh, Grand-père et Fiona sont rentrés."

Nina : "Oh, non ! Et le jeu."

Grand-père : "Quel accueil!"

Lucie : "Grandma understands, it's hard for me to count."

Nina : "Ok, that's good. It's only because just two players is no fun."

Grandma : "So everyone is happy."

Lucie : "Oh, Granddad and Fiona are back."

Nina : "Oh no! what about the game."

Granddad : "What a welcome!"

Mamie : "Elle n'est pas contente parce que nous allions commencé le jeu."

Grand-père : "Comment c'est possible ? Qu'est ce que vous avez fait jusqu'à maintenant ?"

Mamie : "J'avais des choses à faire et j'ai aussi essayé d'appeler Fiona."

Grand-père : "Rien de vraiment important je suppose, de toute façon elle avait laissé son téléphone à la maison."

Mamie : "Cela t'amuse. Je voulais des œufs mais je vois que tu en as. Incroyable !"

Grand-père : "Félicie a dû t'entendre, tu vois pas besoin de téléphone."

Grandma : "She is annoyed because we were about to start the game."

Granddad : "How is that possible? What have you been doing until now?"

Grandma : "I had things to do and I also tried to phone Fiona."

Granddad : "Nothing really important I guess, anyway she had left her phone at home."

Grandma : "You're enjoying it, aren't you? I wanted eggs but I can see you've got some. Unbelievable!"

Granddad : "Félicie must have heard you, you see no need for a phone."

Fiona : "Vous n'avez pas encore fini votre jeu."

Nina : "On ne l'a même pas encore commencé. Tout ça à cause de Mamie et sa tablette."

Lucie : "Tu avais oublié ton téléphone. Mamie voulait t'appeler pour que tu rapportes des œufs. C'est bête on n'aura pas d'omelette ce soir." 

Fiona : "Ne t'en fais pas ! Félicie nous a donné des œufs."

Lucie : "Chouette alors !"

Nina : "Mamie, Fiona et Grand-père peuvent jouer avec nous."

Fiona : "You haven't finished your game yet."

Nina : "We haven't even started it yet. All that because of Grandma and her tablet."

Lucie : "You forgot your phone. Grandma wanted to call you to bring back some eggs. It's too bad we won't have an omelette."

Fiona : "Don't fret! We got eggs from Félicie."

Lucie : "Great!"

Nina : "Grandma, Fiona and Granddad can play with us."

Mamie : "J'imagine que Grand-père veut se reposer après sa promenade."

Grand-père : "Très juste. Je vais me faire du thé et lire. Bon, je vais mettre les œufs dans la cuisine."

Mamie : "C'est bien ce que je pensais. Et toi Fiona ?"

Fiona : "Je voulais te montrer les plantes que j'ai cueillies et aussi lire."

Nina : "Allez, s'il te plait, Fiona joue avec nous. Plus on est de joueurs, mieux c'est."

Fiona: "Oh, eh bien, d'accord, si cela te fait plaisir."

Nina et Lucie : "Chouette ! Merci Fiona."

Mamie : "C'est gentil Fiona, après le jeu tu me montreras tes plantes. Commençons le jeu pour de bon."

Grandma : "I guess Granddad wants to have a rest after his walk."

Granddad : "You're so right. I'll make myself some tea and read. Right, I'll put the eggs in the kitchen."

Grandma : "That's what I thought. What about you Fiona?"

Fiona : "I wanted to show you the plants I picked and also read."

Nina : Come on Fiona, please, play with us. The more players we are, the better it is"

Fiona : "Oh, well, ok, if it makes you happy."

Nina and Lucie : "Great! Thank you Fiona."

Grandma : " It's kind of you Fiona, after the game you'll show me your plants. Let's start the game for good."

Nina : "Je ne sais pas. Laisse moi réfléchir et je vais trouver une idée."

Lucie : "Je prendrai bien un calisson, mais si elle nous voit ça va barder."

Nina : "Je te dis qu'elle ne verra rien. Allez viens.""

Lucie : "So what do we do while waiting for Grandma?"

Nina : "We can do whatever we want she won't even notice."

Lucie : "Ok, but what?"

Nina : "I don't know. Let me think and I'll find an idea."

Lucie : "I'd love to have a calisson, but if she sees us there'll be trouble."

Nina : "I'm telling you she won't see anything. Come on."

 

Nina : "Bon, qu'est ce que tu attends? "

Lucie : "Toi fais le et après j'en prendrai un."

Nina : "Pourquoi moi ? C'est toi qui en voulais un."

Lucie : "Peut-être, mais c'est toi qui m'a dit de venir en prendre un."

Nina : "Alors tu te dégonfles."

Nina : "So, what are you waiting for?"

Lucie : "You do it and then I'll take one."

Nina : "Why me? You're the one who wanted one."

Lucie : "Maybe, but you're the one who told me to go an get one."

Nina : "So you're chickening out."

Mamie : "Qu'est ce que vous faites ? Je croyais que vous vouliez jouer."

Nina : "Rien, on t'attendait c'est tout."

Lucie : "Mamie tu m'aideras pour compter et payer ?"

Mamie : "Oui bien sûr, distribuez les billets."

Nina  : "Je vais le faire."

Grandma : "What are you doing ?" I thought you wanted to play."

Nina : "Nothing, we were just waiting for you."

Lucie : "Grandma will you help me count and pay?"

Grandma : "Yes, of course I will, hand out the banknotes."

Nina : "I'll do it."

 

Mamie : "Ah, j'ai oublié de dire à Grand-père et Fiona de prendre des œufs."

Lucie : "C'est pas grave."

Mamie : "Si, je veux faire une omelette ce soir. Je vais appeler Fiona."

Nina : "Pas maintenant, on va jouer."

Mamie : "Ça ne sera pas long et puis tu n'as pas fini avec les billets. Mais où ai je mis mon téléphone ?"

Lucie et Nina : "Il est là bas."

Grandma : "Ah, I forgot to tell Granddad and Fiona to get some eggs."

Lucie : "It isn't a big deal."

Grandma : "Yes, it is, I want to make an omelette tonight. I'll call Fiona."

Nina : "Not now, we're going to play."

Grandma : "It won't be long and you haven't finished with the banknotes. But where did I put my phone?"

Nina and Lucie : "It's over there."

Nina : "Tiens, le voilà."

Mamie : "Merci les filles. J'oublie toujours où je l'ai mis."

Lucie : "Tu devrais le mettre dans ta poche."

Mamie : "Je n'en ai pas besoin tout le temps comme les adolescents."

Nina : "C'est ce que fait papa et c'est pas un adolescent."

Nina : "Look, here it is."

Grandma : "Thank you girls. I'm always forgetting where I put it."

Lucie : "You should put it in your pocket."

Grandma : "I don't need it all the time like teenagers."

Nina : "That's what Dad does and he isn't a teenager."

Lucie : "C'est quoi un adolescent ?"

Nina : "Les jeunes comme Fiona."

Lucie : "Mais Fiona elle est pas tout le temps avec son téléphone."

Mamie : "Chut ! J'appelle Fiona."

Lucie : "C'est quoi cette musique?"

Lucie : "What is a teenager?"

Nina : "Young people like Fiona."

Lucie : "But Fiona she isn't always with her phone."

Grandma : "Sush! I'm calling Fiona."

Lucie : "What's that music?"

Mamie : "Je ne comprends pas pourquoi elle ne répond pas."

Nina : "Mamie c'est normal Lucie a trouvé le téléphone de Fiona."

Mamie : "Alors la musique c'était son téléphone qui sonnait."

Lucie : "Et tu ne peux pas appeler Grand-père."

Mamie : "Non, puisqu'il ne veut pas de téléphone. Bien, il faudra que je pense à quelque chose d'autre pour le diner."

Nina : "Allez, on va jouer maintenant."

Grandma : "I don't understand why she can't answer."

Nina : "Grandma it's normal Lucie has just found Fiona's phone."

Grandma : "So the music was her phone ringing."

Lucie : "And you can't call Granddad."

Grandma : "No, I can't, since he doesn't want a phone. Well, I'll have to think of something else for dinner."

Chèvre : "Je suis sûre qu'ils te cherchaient."

Félicie : "Qu'est ce que je vous disais il est bien avec la chèvre."

Fiona : "Tu avais raison. Elle est trop mignonne ta chèvre."

Félicie : "C'est pas le tout mais il faut ramasser les œufs."

Goat : "Ah, I can hear Félicie coming."

Calinou : "Then there must also be Granddad and Fiona."

Félicie : "Ah, les gens de la ville, vous êtes compliqués. Bon, tu vas avoir des œufs frais avec le miens."

Félicie : "Thank you for your help Fiona."

Fiona : "You're welcome. I asked Mum to have hens in the garden to get fresh eggs but she doesn't want to."

Félicie : "Why not?"

Fiona : "She says they would be noisy and that the neighbours wouldn't like it."

Félicie : "Ah, townspeople, you are complicated. Well, you're going to have fresh eggs with mine."

Grand-père : "Merci Félicie. Solange sera contente, surtout que les filles aiment les omelettes."

Félicie : "J'espère que le petites ne sont pas trop difficiles sur la nourriture."

Grand-père : "Il faut pas se plaindre. Mais ça peut parfois être houleux pendant les repas, tout dépend de leur humeur."

Félicie : "Vous avez vos petits-enfants et moi j'ai mes animaux, ils sont mes enfants."

Fiona : "Voyant comme la chèvre te regarde on voit qu'elle t'aime."

Félicie : "Tu sais les animaux comprennent et ressentent tout."

Granddad : "Thank you Félicie. Solange will be pleased, especially that the girls like omelettes."

Félicie : "I hope the little ones aren't too fussy about their food."

Granddad : "We don't have to complain. But it can sometimes be stormy during meals, it all depends on their moods."

Félicie : "You've got your grandchildren and I've got my animals, they're my children."

Fiona : "Seeing how your goat is looking at you I can see she loves you."

Félicie : "You know animals understand and feel everything."

Grand-père : "Après ces bonnes paroles je pense qu'il est temps de rentrer Fiona."

Félicie : "Solange doit vous attendre pour l'aider avec les petites."

Grand-père : "Très certainement, elle doit être bien occupée."

Fiona : "Elle a dit qu'elles allaient faire un jeu de société."

Grand-père : "Donc tout va bien." 

Félicie : "Charles, tu pourras peut-être même te reposer et lire."

Granddad : "After these good words I think it's time to go home Fiona."

Félicie : "Solange must be waiting for you to help her with the little ones."

Granddad : "Most certainly, she must be quite busy."

Fiona : "She said that they were going to play a board game."

Granddad : "So everyhing's fine."

Félicie : "Charles, you may even be able to have a rest and read."

Lucie : "Mamie viens jouer."

Nina : "Elle n'entend pas ou quoi ?"

Lucie : "C'est parce qu'elle est avec sa tablette."

Nina : "Mamie nous sommes prêtes." 

Mamie : "Qu'est ce que vous dites ?"

Nina : "On t'attend pour jouer. Dépêche-toi!"

Lucie : "Grandma come and play."

Nina : "Can't she hear, or what?"

Lucie : "It's because she's with her tablet."

Nina : "Grandma we're ready."

Grandma : "What are you saying?"

Nina : "We're waiting for you to play. Hurry up!"

Mamie : "Je vais écrire mon mail et j'arrive."

Nina : "Elle exagère, quand on regarde un dessin animé sur sa tablette et qu'il est l'heure de manger on doit venir tout de suite."

Lucie : "C'est pas juste."

Nina : "Surtout que c'est elle qui a dit que nous allions faire un jeu."

Lucie : "Mais mamie on t'attend, tu viens?"

Nina : "Je vais la voir."

Grandma : "I'll write my email and I'll be right there."

Nina : "She must be joking, when we watch a cartoon on her tablet and it's time to eat we have to come right away."

Lucie : "It's not fair."

Nina : "All the more so since she's the one who said we were going to play."

Lucie : "But Grandma we're waiting for you, are you coming?"

Nina : "I'll go and see her."

Mamie : "Quoi encore ?"

Nina : "Tu as dit qu'on allait jouer mais tu ne viens pas."

Mamie : "Je vous ai dit quand j'aurai fini d'écrire mon mail."

Nina : "Mais c'est trop long, on en a marre."

Lucie : "C'est vrai."

Mamie : "Ça suffit ! Comment voulez vous que je le finisse si vous parlez tout le temps. Ça ne va pas être long maintenant."

Grandma : "What is it now?"

Nina : "You said we were going to play but you're not coming."

Grandma : "I told you when I finish writing my email."

Nina : "But it's too long, we're fed up."

Lucie : "It's true."

Grandma : "Enough! How do you want me to finish it if you're talking all the time. It won't be long now."
